Jean Carlot Michaud, age 73 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Jean was born on February 11, 1951 in Port-au-Prince Haiti, the son of the late Ferdinand Mac Nally and Rolande Michaud. Jean was proud of his Haitian heritage and will be remembered for his sense of humor. He enjoyed playing guitar, watching movies, and most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Jean is survived by: his wife, Rose Marie Charlemagne Michaud; one child, Sabine Michaud; grandchild, Nyel Johnson; and mother and grandmother of his child and grandchild, Marie Jose; Three siblings, John Michaud, Nadine Jean-Francois, and Dr. Herve Michaud, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 9 AM until 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Derron Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
Though Jean was born and raised in the church, he went through life often times struggling with faith. However, thankfully he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in May 2024.
