Jean Leann Miene

Jean L. Miene, age 61 of Prairie du Chien passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Prairie du Chien on October 30, 1961, the daughter of William and Myrtle (Ingle) Mansfield. Jean grew up in Prairie du Chien and worked at McGregor Loudspeaker for many years. She married Fred Miene on April 22, 2004, in Prairie du Chien. She enjoyed sewing and cross stitching, as well as spending time with her pets. She is survived by her husband Fred; their children Cory and Jeanna Nading, Cody Tamling, and Desarae Albright; her siblings Charles Mansfield, Jayne Pitzer, Ron Mansfield, and Joni Vogel; her grandchildren Derek and Alex Nading and nieces and nephews Kali Tonn, Lydia Schlicht, Charles Mansfield Jr, Chris Mansfield, and Shaun Pitzer. She was preceded in death by her parents.
According to Jean's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
