Jean Louise (Pluta) Perelli, (81), of Woodbridge, Virginia died May 21, 2023, at English Meadows Assisted Living in Manassas, Virginia
A native of Boswell, Pennsylvania. Graduate of Jenners-Boswell-Jennerstown Joint High School (now North Star), Boswell, PA.; attended Northern Virginia Community College, Woodbridge, VA Campus. She was a resident of Woodbridge from 1967-2022 and recently of Manassas.
Preceded in death July 1989 by her son, Gregory Philip Perelli and October 2004 by her husband, Ronald Leonard Perelli, Sr. She is survived by one son, Vincent Edward Perelli and wife Julie (Williams) Perelli, grandson Gregory Alan Perelli, mother Dorothy (Darr) Pluta of Boswell, one sister, Charlene Mattaliano, one brother, Charles Edward Pluta of Boswell, one niece, Chelsea Pluta, two nephews, Peter Frank Mattaliano, Jr. and Mark Brian Mattaliano,
Her career with the U.S. Government spanned over 43 years. Prior to October 1989 she worked for the U.S. Information Agency for 38 years. Following 5 years as a Waiver Review Officer in the Office of Consular Affairs, Visa Office, U.S. Department of State. She retired in July 2004. She loved photography and her pet Yorkshire Terrier, Gwyneth (Gwynnie). She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City, VA.
