Jean Small Obituary
Jean was born in Hanover, PA on January 18, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Stella (Adams) Hoover. She worked at Hanover Shoe Company for many years and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover.
In addition to her loving husband Burnell, Jean is survived by her children Patricia Lawyer and husband Gary, Joan Becker and husband Russell, and Richard Small and wife Elizabeth; her grandchildren Brian, Stacy, Jaime, Joshua, and Emily; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Jessica Becker.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331. Inurnment will follow the Mass at Annunciation B.V.M. Cemetery in McSherrystown.
Memorial contributions in Jean's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Sorry for your loss. I remember her from my time at Hanover packaging. She was good humored and very nice every time I meet her.
