Jean Warnke, a lifelong resident of Elmsford, died peacefully on March 24 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Cathaleen (Post) Warnke and sister of Ernest and his wife Dorothy, and William and his wife Susan. She was predeceased by her brother Robert. Jean is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Alexander Hamilton High School she worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She was a devout communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford. Jean was a selfless caregiver and a staunch Yankees fan.
Funeral mass is scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, March 29 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, NY. Donations in Jean's name can be made to your favorite charity.
