After Jeanene and Michael's marriage ended, she met and married Robert Seyfried in 1985. Jeanene and Bob spent over 20 years together making beautiful memories together that are too numerous to name.
Jeanene and Bob relished the company of friends and family, hosting party after party for all occasions. They owned season football tickets to CSU and the Denver Broncos and were infamous for their tailgates. They loved to travel and enjoyed remembering those experiences by collecting memories that are still displayed in their home. Jeanene was a talented tole painter and teacher of this art. She was artistically gifted, making jewelry of all kinds, knitting, and needleworking to name a few of her talents. She loved animals and was always surrounded by at least one pet.

One of her cherished verses was Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." She loved playing Bridge, cards, and board games in her later years. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, treasuring her time spent with them. Her motto was "this too shall pass" when confronted by a challenge and she shared it with all those she loved.
