Jeanette "Jan" A. Dahl
Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18th, 2024 at the age of 90.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Martin Dahl, son Patrick Dahl and her brothers George, Gerry and Henry Seracki.
She is survived by her Granddaughter, Nicole (Adam) Wade;her Grandson, Eric (Candi) Dahl; Great-Granddaughter, Ava Wade; Sisters, Marlene Laqua and Linda (Ted) Natus; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jeanette will be fondly remembered for a laugh that could light up a room and get you laughing right along with her. And if she was laughing, you could bet that her sisters were right alongside her! She was happiest when she was gardening, sewing, baking; especially her famous molasses cookies that her grandchildren looked forward to every Christmas, reading a good book or spending time with her family and she was never one to turn down a cold beer alongside them. You could often find her walking laps at the mall or on the paths around her home well into her 80's. Her energy and spunk will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
Visitation will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Church of Saint Peter in North Saint Paul, with Funeral Mass to begin at 12:00PM. Burial will take place in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Sandberg Funeral and Cremation Services are handling all arrangements.
