Jeannette Ann Gilliam, Anadarko was born October 8, 1956 to Maria Feichtbauer and Jay Donald Gilliam in Karlsruhe, Germany. She passed on to her spiritual home January 14, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Her father was in the US Army and Jeannette and her family traveled abroad. He retired in 1973 and they moved to Fletcher, OK. While in school, she participated in Choir,
4-H and softball. Jeannette graduated from Fletcher High School with the Class of '74.
She loved her cats! She was a collector of many things, blue glass being one of her favorites. She had an old soul and enjoyed her privacy. She took care of her mother in her later years. Her friends meant the world to her. She was a homemaker and lived in rural Anadarko with her partner, Wayne, for almost 20 years.
Survivors include her best friend and partner, Wayne Buckner, of Anadarko; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sonya Gilliam, Cyril; nephews and nieces, Davey Gilliam, Fletcher; Dawn and Donnie Dettlaff, Marlow; Chaz Gilliam, Cyril and Shekinah and Jaylan Maguire, Apache; great nephews, Deagun Detlaff, Marlow and Brightton Maguire, Apache and other family members in Austria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Gilliam and uncle, Ray Gilliam.
A Celebration of Jeannette's life with a dinner and visiting will be hosted by her friends at the Cyril Masonic Lodge, 608 Windle/Hwy 19, Cyril on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00pm. Afterwards, we will go to Memory Lane Cemetery at Anadarko.
