Jeanette graduated from Charleston High School in 1960, and remained close with her high school friends for the rest of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston. Jeanette served on the Charleston City Council working to make the city parks enjoyable for all. She worked from home for many years fully devoted to her family. The family is grateful to the staff at Parkway Village who tenderly cared for her over the past year. The family also extends its heartfelt thanks to Jeanette's many friends and neighbors in Charleston who have loved and cared for her as her memory faded. Those who knew her know she was a friend to all she met and generous with her love for others.
