Ms. Jeanette Ross, 64 of Lafayette, AL passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Lafayette Extended Care, Lafayette, AL.
Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.
Ms. Ross will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, 1:00 PM CST at Greater Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Lafayette, Alabama. Reverend Rodney Thomas, Pastor. Reverend Justin Freeman, Eulogist.
Interment will follow funeral service in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery, Lafayette, AL.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her siblings; Judy Leverette and Dyann (Willie Lee) Evans both of Lafayette, Alabama, Jackie (Bishop Melvin) Cartwright of Lanett, Alabama, Jeff (Linda) Ross of Atlanta, Georgia, Patricia (Raymond) Poole of Lafayette, Alabama, Josephine (Walter) Finley and Rose Marie Crenshaw both of Wadley, Alabama, James (Allison) Sims of Roanoke, Alabama, Lora Ann Sims of Lafayette, Alabama, Anne (Kenny) Reese of Wadley, Alabama, Jessie (Angelia) Sims of Roanoke, Alabama; two sisters-in-law, Willie Jean Ross and Louise Ross both of Lafayette, Alabama; special niece, Crystal "Star" Poole; special nephews, Ryann, Bryan and Jordan Ross; best friends, Annie Jean Ferrell and Joyce Boyd, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Jeanette served as a mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother to many others.
