Jeanine J. Marchand

Belchertown- Jeanine J. Marchand, 93, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Alexina (Breault) Moreau.

She worked in her youth at her parents' store in East Springfield but was most proud of being a loving and caring homemaker. She was a nanny to many children through the years, and was especially close to her honorary granddaughter, Jacqueline Johnson of NY, NY. She often said her happiest time in life was when her children were little. She was generous to a fault and helped everyone she could. She had a fierce love for family. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, arts and crafts, flowers and nature. Her kindness, sass and humor will be dearly missed.

She leaves her children, Raymond Marchand and his wife Lori of Milo, Maine, Darlene Marchand of Belchertown, MA, Jeanine Marchand of West Lebanon, NH, and Gerald Kenney. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Norma Eaton, of Belchertown, MA. She was predeceased by her siblings Cleo Roger Moreau, Ernest Moreau, Ramona Bellefeuille, and Gloria Long.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 5PM- 7PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation, 220 N. Main Street East Longmeadow, MA 01028. Memorial contributions in Jeanine's name may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children.
