Zillgitt, Jeanine Louise (née: McCurnin) of Coon Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully Sunday April 18th at Mercy Hospital in Anoka MN. Jeanine was a beautiful, strong and resilient woman who was devoted to her husband Ronnie. She loved spending time with her daughter Michele and loved eating out. She loved to bake cakes and pies, and her banana bread was legendary. She loved music, especially Nat King Cole and Tony Bennet. She was an accomplished French Horn player and even played in a marching band. Jeanine loved to shop! Clothes and accessories were high on her list. She only wore one perfume her entire life - Channel #5. Jeanine was very interested in current events and politics and was not shy about sharing her opinion on such matters. For such a little lady, she could eat like a line backer! Jeanine is survived by her daughter Michele (Bob) Swanson. Son Gregory (Pam) Zillgitt. Grandchildren: Jennifer (Robert) Lewis, Missy (Ken) McNamara, Joshua Arel and Michael Bauer. 16 great grandchildren and 1 great grand child. Siblings: Paul (Evelyn) McCurnin, Thomas (Linda) McCurnin, Martha Hettinger and Marcia (Dick) Stinger. Preceded in death by husband Ronald, parents Margaret and Leonard McCurnin of Sioux City Iowa, and Grandsons David and Joseph Zillgitt. Private services were held on Friday April 22nd. Internment at Fort Snelling next to her husband Ronnie will occur at a later date. Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
