Jeanne Lucille Amaral, 81, of Falmouth, passed away peacefully at sunrise on October 2, 2025, with her son by her side, blanketed in the love of family and friends.
To know Jeanne was to be loved by her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. To her Rogers Road "kids," she was Mama Jeanne, and over the years she lovingly adopted countless others as her own. Later in life, she was blessed with the joy of becoming "Grams" to a second generation. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by her people.
Jeanne's love was expressed through her many gifts and talents. She created wedding cakes too numerous to count, brought her famous chocolate sheet cake to every gathering and found countless other ways to care for those around her. If someone had a need, Jeanne found a way to meet it.
Born and raised in Falmouth, Jeanne built a beautiful life rooted in family, friendship, and community. She loved making memories on Martha's Vineyard, and was deeply connected to the Falmouth Fire Department family alongside her late husband, Clifford B.
