Jeanne Frances Hannebaum, 83, of Yukon, OK passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 30, 1941, in Topeka, Kansas, to Frank and Genevieve Bieberly, Jeanne devoted her life to faith, family, and service to others. A longtime member of Saint John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Jeanne was deeply involved in parish life. She found joy and fellowship in her book club, rosary group, Stephen Ministries, and many other church activities, where she formed lasting friendships that enriched her life. Jeanne graduated from Sisters of St. Joseph School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for 45 years. 39 of those years were in the ER at Mercy Hospital, offering care, comfort, and compassion to countless patients and families. After retiring, she dedicated herself to her most cherished role-helping care for her grandchildren. She looked forward to picking up her grandsons from school every day, treasuring those moments more than anything. She was also a creative spirit, though she rarely gave herself enough credit for her talents. Jeanne loved traveling with her beloved husband, Dean, sharing many adventures and memories together. Jeanne is survived by her children and their spouses: Laura and Michael Murray, Brian and Natalie Hannebaum, Scott and Cynde Hannebaum, and Andrea and Christopher Gaylord; and her grandchildren: Conner, Carter, and Caeson Gaylord, and Abigail Hannebaum. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean; her parents, Frank and Genevieve Bieberly; and her sisters, Jerilyn Broussard and Janet Wilkerson. Jeanne will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her caring heart, and the countless ways she quietly enriched the lives of those around her. A come-and-go visitation will be held Monday, August 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Yanda and Son Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, at Saint John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, OK. The Rosary will be recited in the chapel beginning at 9:45 a.m.

I cherish memories of Jeanne when we attended Luckey high school together and later our first year at Marymount College. The last time we visited was at a high school reunion in Manhattan. So grateful she touched my life during those times. A beautiful legacy she left; a life well lived. May she rest in the arms of Our Lord. Doris (Geraghty) Urban

Sorry to hear of your loss of Your mother she was such a sweet and kind neighbor to us for over 28 years.
I enjoyed our talks of traveling and trying new foods, I will miss them. She always spoke of her grandchildren and proud of them she was.

Hello Laura, I'm so sorry for your loss, and even though I did not know your mom, she sounded like a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family that the Lord grants you peace and comfort during this time. God bless you and your family.
