Jeanne Tower Obituary

Jeanne F. Tower

Granby, MA - Jeanne (Domingue) Tower, born in 1946, passed away in 2026. Jeanne is survived by her son Robert and his wife Diane; her grandchildren Jessa (Jota), Christopher (Sara), Thomas (Olivia) and Brian (Mariah); and her great-grandchildren Tobias, Hunter, Lexi, Blake, Theodore, and Sophia. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Bella, who brought her comfort and joy in her later years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Stella Domingue, her husband Lawrence, and her son Richard, all of whom she held close in her heart throughout her life.

Jeanne retired from UMass, where she built lasting friendships and took pride in her work. Outside of her career, she embraced a life rich with passion and tradition. She spent many years showing Morgan horses, a pursuit that reflected her patience, dedication, and quiet strength. She was an avid quilter, creating pieces that warmed both homes and hearts. Some of her happiest moments were spent during family game nights, picnics, and cherished vacations in York Beach, Maine, a place filled with memories and laughter. Calling hours will be held on Wed, March 18th from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Dakin Humane Society. For more information, please visit www.beersandstory.com
