Jeannette M. DuBrey, 89, of Keysor St., Lyon Mountain passed away January 9, 2025 at her home with her family by her side and aided by Hospice of the North Country.
Born on February 10, 1935 in Lyon Mountain, NY she was the daughter of Howard and Bernice (LaFlesh) LaPoint.
She worked for over 30 years as a custodian at Suny Plattsburgh before retiring to care for her son. Jeannette was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain.
Jeannette is survived by her two daughters, Sharon and Joseph LeClair of Lyon Mountain, Kim and Michael Chase of Chateaugay; a daughter-in-law, Jill DuBrey of Black Brook, NY; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Genevieve and John Mailloux of Brainardsville, Diane Shutts of Merrill; three sisters-in-law, Betty Charland of Merrill, Jane (LaPoint) McDonald of Chateaugay and Vina Gonzales of Chateaugay Lake; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; two sons, Christopher and Terrence DuBrey; her husband, Ralph DuBrey; sisters, Sally Kline, Mary Rita Cayea and Barbara Collins; brothers, Howard Jr., Robert, Phillip, Albert, Francis, George, William and Thomas LaPoint.
Calling hours will be held at St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately following at 1 p.m.
Entombment will take place at the Town of Ellenburg Mausoleum.
Donations in Jeannette's memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country and Wounded Warriors.
