EAST LIVERPOOL – Jeannette M. "Jan" Nease, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday evening, June 25, 2025, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was 84 years old.
Born in East Liverpool, August 2, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Charles Allmon, Sr. and Myra Seevers Allmon Tice. She was a member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church. A resident of this area all her life, she worked at Quickie Meats, Giant Eagle, the American Legion Post 374 and operated an in-home daycare business for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Post 374 Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Post 66 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Eckstein (David), Myra Camp and Penny Carter (Derek), as well as seven grandchildren: Stephen Camp, Jr., Kristin Shriver, David Eckstein, Joshua Eckstein, Andrew Eckstein, Austin Rice and Nicholas Rice, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and friends. Also surviving is a brother, Charles Allmon (Carol).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Kristin Marie Camp, former husband Leroy "Lee" Nease, and her longtime companion Richard "Bub" Reynolds.
Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service Tuesday, July 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
