Jeannette A. Stemmer, age 72, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Shakopee.
Jeannette was born in Shakopee on December 13, 1952, the daughter of Gerhard and Eleanor (Jansen) Schmitt.
Jeannette married Peter Stemmer and had 2 children, Pamela and Bryan. She enjoyed crafting, baking, camping, playing cards, having parties, being the life of the party, taking pictures, having her picture taken. She had a great eye for fashion and the latest styles. She loved her glasses and always had many different fun styles. Jeannette was a professional Body Builder starting in her 50's and won many awards. She loved to be around people and talk to everyone. She loved to eat out with Pete and you would often find them at the Donut Connection or VFW.
Survived by daughter, Pam (Jason) Theis; son, Bryan (Dawn); 6 grandchildren; and sisters, Barb and Karen; and brother, Howard. Preceded by husband, Peter; parents, Gerhard and Eleanor Schmitt; grandson, Austin Stemmer; and brother, Gerhard F.
Visitation Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 9:30-11:30 AM; followed by a Celebration of Jeannette's Life at 11:30 AM, at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Avenue East, Shakopee, 952-445-2755. Reception at Shakopee VFW. Interment Friday June 6, 9:00 AM, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
