Jeannine Marie Brooks

Jeannine Marie Brooks, 90, of Bemidji, MN passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Gold Pine Home in Bemidji.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 22, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church in Bemidji with Pastor Chip Holt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Evergreen Northern Township Cemetery in Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

Jeannine was born September 10, 1934 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Lloyd and Verna (Riles) Hubbard. She was raised and educated in Bemidji, graduating Bemidji High School in 1952. She married Walter Sherman Brooks November 12, 1955 in Bemidji. She Worked for BiCap, the Bemidji Pioneer, Dickinson Realty, and ReMax. She was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary. In her retirement, she was an artist and painter and was a member of Gallery North.

She is survived by her children, Ronald (Lu) Brooks, Daniel (Patty) Brooks, Diane (Jeff) Bajari, and Scott (Tammie) Brooks, sisters, Marjorie (Bob) Klug and Mary Lou Miller, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Liberty, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, parents Verna and Lloyd Hubbard, grandparents, Birdie and Lloyd Kennedy, Floyd Riles, and Clara DeRosier, and sister, Roberta "Bobbie" Liberty, brother-in-law Richard Miller.
