Jerry Mack, 70, of Fort Worth, Texas, was born on April 20, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas to Linda Crain and Duane Mack; he passed away on September 28, 2025.
Jerry was a loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend whose kindness and steady presence touched everyone who knew him. He served in the U.S. Army in the early 70’s. He had many professions that he excelled in, such as a skilled airline and automotive mechanic. He worked for UPS for many years before retiring, where he was known for his dedication and hard work.
In his free time, Jerry loved cooking and baking. Everyone who knew him looked forward to any gathering, knowing he would bring one of his delicious desserts—especially his famous cheesecake, which was the best anyone had ever tasted. His other hobbies included working on cars and taking on projects of all kinds around the house. He had a special love for classic cars and restoring his ‘72 Monte Carlo. He especially cherished valued time with his family and always expressed how important it was to him. Watching movies together was a simple tradition, but a meaningful way for him to spend time as a family and bond. His unwavering faith was also a central part to who he was. A devoted Christian, he lived his life guided by his deep-rooted beliefs and the strength he found in his relationship with God.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Linda and Duane Mack, and his brother Donnie Mack.
Jerry is survived by his children, Amber, Cody, and Valerie Mack, and his cherished grandchildren, Zoey Jones and Aurora Armstrong, who brought endless light and joy to his life.
Those who were lucky enough to know Jerry will remember him for his infectious laughter and sharp wit. His sense of humor was one of the many ways he made life brighter for those around him. His steady presence was a comforting reminder that you could always depend on him. He was consistently generous and loyal. Although stubborn at times, it was always in a way that reminded you just how deeply he cared. He had a way of leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Although Jerry’s physical presence will no longer grace our lives; his memory will warm our hearts and remain a guiding light that will never be forgotten.
