Jed Michael Stern

Jed was born in Brooklyn. Even though he moved to Kendall Park when he was 5, went to Beloit College in Wisconsin, and lived in South Orange, NJ longer than anywhere else, he still considered himself a New Yorker. Jed loved movies, especially old movies like The Producers and Rear Window and foreign films like Seventh Samurai. He loved jazz, especially modern jazz like Monk and Miles. He loved travelling and had been to countries in 5 continents, including Peru, Tibet, and Turkey. But mostly, he loved his family – his children, his parents, his siblings and cousins – and his close friends, who he spoke to regularly since college, or grade school, or before.
Jed was a proud Atheist, who believed in live and let live and be whoever you want to be. He will be dearly missed by his wife Julie, his child Maddy, his brother Joshua, and his sister Eden.
