Jeff Cisler, age 59, of Two Rivers passed away at home on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
After a courageous journey with Muscular Dystrophy, Jeff's time on earth has come to an end. His life now in heaven will begin without the pain he suffered throughout his life. Jeff was born on May 12, 1965 to Joseph and Marie (Petrashek) Cisler in Two Rivers. He graduated from Roncalli High School in 1984.
On November 7, 1986, Jeff married the love of his life, Mary Plansky, whom he met while studying at the Two Rivers Library. They have one daughter, Jessica Cisler-Sackett and two grandchildren, Alayna and Brayden.
Jeff worked at Sentry Foods / Stegemann's Corporation for almost 15 years, and then he really found his true calling at Suettinger's True Value Hardware, where he worked until it closed in April 2014. Jeff enjoyed working with all the customers there and along the way made many friends, both staff and customers, especially Chris Suettinger and Bruce Suettinger.
Jeff loved interacting with people and his many friends meant the world to him. He also enjoyed camping with his family, antiquing, collecting beer signs and working in his man cave/garage. "Burt" Favre even came by one evening, had a beer and signed Jeff's Leinenkugel's beer paddle! Jeff also enjoyed collecting Two Rivers memorabilia and celebrating his favorite holiday, Christmas. In his earlier years, he enjoyed ordering new trucks and getting them customized by A&J Van's. And with his many vehicles, he enjoyed cruising the beaches and downtown Two Rivers. His vehicles knew the path very well.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife Mary, his daughter Jessica, two grandchildren, Alayna and Brayden and his cat Oliver. Along with his six siblings, godchild Christopher Einwald, and many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind numerous family and friends who supported him throughout the years, Ed, Dale, Leo, Leon and Jeremiah Plansky, Kyle Stegemann, Chad Bauknecht, Norris Busse, Trisha Casper, Tim Culligan, Lauren Culligan, Mark Jacquette, Kory Klein, Dean Konop, Stephanie Luisier, Tim Mitchell, Kevin Perry, Shawn Perry, Mike Timm, Glen Schanilec and Bonnie Tonkin. Jeff also leaves behind his cousins, Bob and Mary Ziino, David and Marge Petrashek and Jim and Sharon Ernst.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joe and Marie Cisler, brother, Greg Cisler, brother-in-law, Guy Schuette. His In-laws, George "Bud" & Elaine Plansky, Baby Plansky, Clarence Plansky, Barbara Staab and Kenneth Plansky. Along with three special uncles and aunts – Max and Lucille Petrashek, Daniel and Dorthy Petrashek and Joe and Emma Konop.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mary and Jessica would like to personally "Thank" all our family and friends throughout the years for their support and especially this last year and also Mary's co-workers at Ironwood Plastics, who have been a blessing during this difficult time.
