Jeff Allen Davis was born April 20, 1962, in Barren County, KY to the late Joseph Harlen and Rowena Mae Lindsey Davis. He departed this life Monday, July 7, 2025, at his home, having attained the age of sixty-three years, two months and seventeen days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. Jeff was employed at Atwood and was an offshore oil man. He was the owner and operator of Grab A Hook Pay Lake and Grill, and Circle Music. He was a Master Mason of the William B Allen #704 F&AM Summersville Masonic Lodge and a member of the Sons of American Legion.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one son: James Keith “T-Bo” Davis, and one sister: Sissy Davis.
Survivors include: his wife: Peggy Edwards Davis of Greensburg; two sons and their wives: Joseph Allen Davis and Mythia of Greensburg, Jason Edward Judd and wife Britney of Lexington, KY. ; one daughter: Kalyn Lashay Davis of Greensburg; one special son: “Derby”; two sisters: Sherry Davis of Greensburg and Jean Cheatham of Hodgenville; three brothers: Tom Davis, PeeWee Davis and his wife Mary, and Joey Davis and his wife Tammy all of Greensburg; eight grandchildren: Lauren, Jasmine, Annalynn, Reagan, Crosby, Turner, Jordan and Travis;
plus, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Jeff Allen Davis will be held at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home on Saturday, July 12, at 11 AM Central Time with Bro. Brad Davis and Bro. Cliffton Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Double “D” Ranch Cemetery in the Grab Community of Green County. Visitation will be held Friday. July 11, 2025, beginning at 3 PM until 8 PM and after 7 AM on Saturday until the time of the service.
There will be a Masonic Service conducted by The William B. Allen No.704 F&AM Masonic Lodge in Summersville, KY at 6 PM Central Time on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home. All Master Masons should meet at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home at 5:00 PM Central Time.
Pallbearers: Joseph Allen Davis, Jacob Davis, Josh Judd, Keegan Zulager, Daniel Coffey, Brian Fulkerson, Mike Willis, Mikey Davis
Honorary Pallbearers: Atwood Employees and Ms. Thelma
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to The American Cancer Society, and these can be made at the funeral home.
