Jeff Leithauser, born June 1, 1969, went to walk with Jesus on April 16, 2025, surrounded by love.
Jeff's lifelong job was being an outstanding electrician, started as a young child experimenting with exploding lightbulbs and inventions. He was also a volunteer firefighter in his earlier years.
Jeff was a man whose presence could not be ignored - not just because of his towering heart, but because of a laugh so big and bright it could light up a room and lift the heaviest of spirits. He was known for his generosity, always willing to go the extra mile for anyone, no matter the circumstances. Whether it was a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger in need, Jeff was there - with open hands and an open heart.
To know Jeff was to know kindness, loyalty, and joy. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen and valued, and his impact on the lives he touched will be felt for years to come.
Jeff leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selfless compassion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents Jim and Nadine Leithauser, brothers Scott and Joe Leithauser, daughter Alicia Leithauser, longtime love Michelle Puthoff and her family, and grandchildren Caiden and Alden as well as many more who love him and will carry his memory in their hearts.
Jeff was preceded in death by his twin sisters Kim and Kelly.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at the Grover Hill VFW starting at 1pm on Sunday April 27th.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Jeff's memory by helping someone in need - just as he always would.
