Jeff Morgan

Jeff Morgan, 44, a resident of North Easton, died on Saturday, June 20, 2020 after an almost 4-year battle with cancer that he fought with dignity, courage, faith and the utmost positive outlook. He passed in his home, with his wife and children at his side. Jeff was the loving husband of Cristy (Vallee) Morgan and is survived by his three children, 7-year old Marcus Morgan, 10-year old Bethany Morgan, and 23-year old Nathan Morgan. Jeff was the beloved son of Dorothy Elizabeth and Charles Arlen Morgan of Beverly Hills, FL and brother to Christine Louise Morgan and Charles Arlen Morgan Jr. of Derry, NH. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins that have been an important part of his life. Jeff grew up in Warrington, PA, moving to Easton in his senior year, where he graduated from Oliver Ames High School. While he calls Easton his home, his memories, friends and skating in PA never left his heart. Jeff earned his Bachelor degree in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He worked for Elaine Construction for many years and ended his career as the Director of Projects and Facilities at Wheaton College. More than anything, Jeff was the epitome of a family man, wearing his heart on his sleeve. He never hesitated to tell people that he had found his soulmate in Cristy and she in him — though 20 years together (13 married) is too short, their love and memories are so rich and everlasting. As a dad, Jeff would spend every minute he could with the kids, being silly and active with them, teaching them and making sure that all time was quality time. He was a lover of life, family and all that nature and the outdoors had to offer. Frequent beach trips (day or night) were a way for Jeff and his family to capture that perfect sunset or sunrise, unwind and connect. He shared his love and passions with his family and friends — always with camera in hand and going out on photo shoots where he could, Jeff had an eye and talent for photography. He had a deep love for skateboarding and the community of skaters that support and loved him as he did them. Jeff always took the high road and did what was right no matter how difficult it might have seemed and is an inspiration for those of us that have witnessed this. He enjoyed playing the guitar, the bass guitar in his band, Over the Edge, and loved listening to music — punk rock was his favorite. He knew all of the back stories and loved to talk music. But as all of us know, the only 'good' music was the music he listened to. Jeff had an uncanny sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. From impersonations to one-liners — an intelligent, spontaneous, fun and dry delivery was just his thing. He treasured his friendships old and new and was never afraid to tell his friends he loved them and appreciated them. Jeff's presence in a room could always be felt in a fun, relaxed and accepting way. A formal ceremony at Covenant Congregational Church of Easton, burial and reception will be announced at a future date, when Covid restrictions have been lifted.
