Jeff Muse

Jeff Muse, 64, passed away February 6, 2023, in Southaven, MS. A visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS, 38672). A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. Interment will be at Desoto Memorial Gardens (630 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS, 38672). Pastor Craig Wendell will be officiating. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
Jeff Muse was born December 13, 1958, in Memphis, TN. Jeff enjoyed many things in life. He was a huge University of Alabama fan and represented Crimson every chance he had. He also enjoyed to fish, hunt, and enjoyed muscle cars. He was even a member of a local muscle car club. Above all, Jeff loved his family and his church, Southpoint Church. Jeff had a huge heart, and his selfless and generous spirit will be missed by all who loved him.
Jeff Muse is survived by his wife, Anita Muse of Southaven, MS; his sons, David Muse (Christina) of Bartlett, TN and Aaron Muse (Janee) of Walls, MS; his daughter, Dancy Gilbreath (John) of Byhalia, MS; his grandchildren, Kylie Muse, Kayla Ferguson, Madison Burke, Caroline Muse, Josiah Muse, Josiah Daniel, Autumn Stewart, Nevaeh Muse, Jenna Muse, Emory Gilbreath, Madelyn Gilbreath, and Gabriel Gilbreath; his brothers, Shannon Muse (Dee) of Starkville, MS and Kevin Muse (Peggy) of Columbia, TN; his sister, Terri Christian of Horn Lake, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jeff Muse was preceded in death by his father, James D. Muse; his mother, Nancy Muse; and his brother, Tim Muse.
Jeff was a tremendous man of faith. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ, he loved SouthPoint Church, and he was very generous with his time and money. He used both to support our community in many ways. He was especially excited about the SouthPoint Community Center that is currently being built and its future impact on our community. Therefore, in leu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the SouthPoint Community Center in his memory.
