Jeff Bernard "Puddin" Sandifer

Jeffery Bernard "Puddin" Sandifer, a cherished member of the community, passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on April 28th, 1957, in Oconee County, Jeff was known for his friendly demeanor, generous spirit, and handy skills.
Born to the late Cecil Tant Sandifer Sr. and the late Frances Annette Ballard Sandifer, Jeff grew up surrounded by a loving family. He was a brother to Sandy Sandifer (Sharon), Greg Sandifer, Cecilia Gaddy (Charles), the late Rebecca "Becky" Sandifer Miller, Rosalyn Kaufmann (Stefan), and Mimi Anderson (Bobby). Jeff was a proud father to Jeffery Willimon "Will" Sandifer and Will's mother, Paige Price. Jeff leaves behind many nieces, nephews, special friends, Katrina Crocker, Sara Moore and John Hamrick, and his loyal dog companion "the boy's" whom he cared and loved dearly.
Jeff's professional life was a former Funeral Director and Embalmer at Sandifer Funeral Home, where he provided comfort and care to countless families during their times of need. Beyond his career, Jeff was an avid antique collector and had a passion for fixing up old cars. His hands were rarely still, as he was always tinkering, restoring, and breathing new life into forgotten treasures. Jeff's dedication to his hobbies, which also included singing, was matched only by his commitment to his faith and community. He was a dedicated member of Westminster Baptist Church and took great pride in being a part of the Cecil Sandifer Sunday School Class, a legacy he carried on in honor of his father. His presence was a comfort, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life was truly remarkable.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Garden. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.
