Jeffery Allen "Jeff" Davis, age 55, resident of Somerville and United States Air Force Veteran, departed this life Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Davis were conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, January 12th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Terry Logan officiating.  Interment was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in the Laconia Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mr. Davis was born on June 30, 1962 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Morley Stanwood High School in Michigan and later served our country in the United States Air Force. Most of his working life involved the construction industry and he also enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. He attended Liberty Baptist Church in the Laconia community.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, Savannah Lynn Dowdy (Pace Pannell) of Oakland, TN; his son, Miles Allen Davis (Sherry) of Whiteville, TN; his brother, Scott Allen Davis (Terri) of Rockford, MI and four grandchildren, Paige, Audrey, Miley and Jax.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Allen Davis.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Ronnie Pittman, Joey Logan, Danny Logan, Jr., Danny Logan, Sr., Zach Jenkins and Jesse Hayes.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105
