Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, James Albert Broadway and Shirley Jean Floyd Broadway; and his brothers, Jerry Broadway and Garry Broadway.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sunny Golemon Broadway; children, Bonnie Broadway (Vinnie), Samantha Huber (Daniel), Justin Broadway, Derek Mitcham (TJ) and Summer Wilson (Quintin); grandchildren, Dawson Ritter (Sassy), Dakota Ritter (Shelby), Derek Mitcham, Jr., Sophie Mitcham, Chauntal Mitcham, Mariska Wilson, Jensen Huber, Daxton Ritter, Daydan Ritter, Brock Mitcham (Emily), Addison Mitcham, Sean Mitcham, Jude Huber and Kinsley Broadway; great grandchildren, Hudson and Ellie Ritter; siblings, Beverly Creighton (Joey), Sandra Broadway, Jennifer Olliff (Randy) and Lane Broadway (Kimberly); mother-in-law, Judy Golemon; honorary brothers, Danny Ritter and Walter Bolton; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by his canine companion for the past 13 years, Taz.

Jeff left this world in the same manner that he entered it, in a blaze of glory!  He was not a man of moderation.  He never gave any less than his all in life, whether from catching over 100 fish within a couple of hours with his grandson Dawson, or driving cross country with his kennel club, Bad Moon Rising (or BMR for short).  He had a passion for hunting and trapping coyotes and up until the day he was hurt, working construction.  He was a man of faith and truth and always had a lending hand for anyone that needed it. He was a man of many words to many unsuspecting audiences.  Usually telling a crazy story from one of the times he and Walter Bolton had gone to a dog hunt, and even though Walter was often the punch line of the stories, he always thought of him as a brother.  Jeff was big in every way; his heart and personality created their own gravitational pull around him.  You just couldn’t help but be pulled in.  Knowing Jeff was like looking at the sun, bright and brilliant and if you looked for too ling you thought you might go blind.  Jeff’s love for his wife, Sunny, was absolute.  No matter how mad they both got, by the end of the day their love would bring them back together with the only casualties being some unfortunate cupcakes.  Jeff also gained a son when he and Sunny got married.  One summer those two caught so many fish together that they cleaned fish faster than you could hand them to them.  His daughters, Bonnie and Samantha thought he could rope the moon and for them he always tried.  If there was one thing Jeff loved more than anything combined, it was his grandkids, and there were many Dawson Ritter, Dakota Ritter, Derek Mitcham, Jr., Sophie Mitcham, Chauntel Mitcham, Mariska Wilson, Jensen Huber, Daxton Ritter, Daydan Ritter, Brock Mitcham, Addison Mitcham, Sean Mitcham, Jude Huber and Kinsley Broadway.  The world will be infinitely dimmer without his shine but we are more for having known him.  Don’t cause maw-maw too much trouble messing around with uncle Jerry in heaven and remember even though we know you’re happy, we are going to miss you so very much.  Until we meet again, COME ON MAN!
