Mr. Jeffery A. Courson

Mr. Jeffery Allen Courson, 57, of East Peoria, Illinois formerly of Avon, Illinois passed away at 2:17 pm Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at his home.
Jeff was born December 8, 1965, in Avon, the son of Kenneth A. and Carol (Anderson) Courson.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Carol Courson of Knoxville; children, Jared (Courtney) Courson of Denham Spring, Louisiana and Kindra (John) Mumma of Elmwood, Illinois; his brother, Ron (Casey) Courson of London, England; his sister, Jeanette Bricker of Galesburg, Illinois; and five grandchildren, Beckham and Rowan Courson, Kaydence and Keira Hanley and John Mumma. He is preceded in death by his father.
Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Avon High School. He worked as an iron worker for Lucas and Son's Steel in Peoria for over thirteen years. Jeff had a love for sports, especially NASCAR.
Cremation will be accorded. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held February 3, 2023, from 3p.m. until ? at the Storm Shelter Pub in Avon, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family, c/o of daughter, Kindra Mumma. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
