Jeff was born in Wadsworth on Feb. 8, 1956, to Evelyn (Maurer) Trowbridge and the late Milton Gaugler. He was also the brother to the late Jerry Gaugler. Jeff served in the U.S. Navy and was a Farrier who dedicated his life to the horses that he cared for.
In following Jeff's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or the Wayne County Dog Shelter, 5694 Burbank Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
