Jeffery Steve "Peach" Leitzman

Jeffery Steve "Peach" Leitzman was a lifelong resident of Morgan County. He lived outside of Paragon on the family farm.
He was born Sunday, January 15, 1950 to Robert Lee Leitzman and Frances Evelyn (Sawyers) Leitzman in Martinsville.
Steve loved farming and driving semi-trucks. He worked for a construction company where he started his truck driving career. From there, he drove for a private contractor for the Post Office. He finally began working for J.W. Jones, driving across the states until 2018. He loved traveling in the big rigs and having his wife Mary go with him when she could. They loved traveling together and created a lot of memories together on these trips.
He enjoyed getting together with his family for holidays and family vacations.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M. (Roberts) Leitzman; daughters, Lisa Shelton (Danny), Stephanie Pucket (Marty), Stephanie Michele Webb (Eric); stepchildren, Michael Roberts, Shelly Coffman, Chris Hewitt (Nicole), and Tonya Cottrell. He had 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitaker Baptist Church, 3490 South Lingle Road, Paragon, Indiana 46166.
