Jeffery Kalainisi Olive passed away in the early morning hours on November 17th, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born September 9, 1969 in San Jose, California to Mele Ikatonga & Sione Olive. He was the youngest of 12 children. He was a proud Eagle Scout and through it, acquired many tools and skills that would then contribute to his lifetime of hard work. He met the love of his life and eternal partner Laina in Salt Lake City and married her on June 28th, 1989 in Altoona, Iowa. They were sealed for all time and eternity on June 30th, 1997. He loved her fiercely and made sure the world knew just how much. Together they had three children: Alex, Biu, and Elizabeth (Boko).

He spent the majority of his life working hard to provide for his family. His passion for tile work started in 1990, which he continued to do until 2004. He then became an ATM Technician in 2005, which he worked for over 15 years, working his way up into project management, trainer and then Director of Field Technicians before retiring in 2020.

He taught his children the importance of family, and keeping it together. He loved unconditionally and without judgment. He lived for the moments when his home was filled with the laughter and noise from his kids, nieces, and nephews. He was known to all as the "cool" uncle, the funny and carefree uncle, and the uncle who treated everyone's children like his own. He spent most of his retirement traveling with his wife and friends, playing Xbox with his kids and nephews, and spending time with his grandson.

Jeff's favorite title in life came in May 2022, with the birth of his first and only grandson Jojo, who calls him Papa. He dedicated the last three and half years to his grandson.. dancing, singing, playing and buying him everything he asked for. He spent the days teaching his grandson new things and reminding him how much he loved him.

His memory will be cherished and carried on by his wife/eternal partner Laina Olive, children Alex Olive, Biu Olive, Elizabeth Po-Ching (Paul Po-Ching), and grandson Josiah Blake Po-Ching.

The family will hold a public viewing Monday, November 24th, 2025 at 1pm at the Vistoso Memorial Chapel Funeral Home located at 2285 E Rancho Vistoso Blvd., Oro Valley, AZ 85755.
