Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home & CrematoryJeffery “Jeff” S. Powers, age 67, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Jeff was born on February 19, 1958 in Renton, WA, son of Robert and Wendy (Weiss) Powers. He graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac and went on to earn his associates degree from Moraine Park Technical College. On October 2, 1982 he married Shari L. Switalski. Jeff was a tool & die engineer and worked at Speed Queen in Ripon, WI for 25 years. He then went to work for Harley Davidson, Pilgrim Rd in Milwaukee for 25 years, up until his death. Jeff was very devoted to his job and worked long hours. He was extremely intelligent and had a remarkable ability to think outside the box. Jeff was dedicated to providing for his family and made it a priority to take a vacation every year together. In his free time, Jeff was a car fanatic and enjoyed the chase of finding the best deal on a car he could fix up.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Shari Powers of Fond du Lac, WI; three sons, Tim (Emily) Powers of Stoughton, WI, Allen (Leanne) Powers of Fond du Lac, WI, and Joe Powers also of Fond du Lac, WI; four grandchildren, Brady, Violet, Logan, and Peyton Mae Powers; father, Bob (Kay) Powers; mother Wendy (Fred) Mabry; sisters, Lisa (Bill) Aus and Holly Powers; sister-in-law, Lori (Bill) Kina; two nieces, Katelynn (Nick) Coughlin and Tessa Aus; nephews, Ben (Tiffany) Kinas and Conor Aus; great-nieces and great-nephew, Callie, Nora, Mia, and Cameron. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Kay Powers; and in-laws, Lloyd and Nancy Switalski.
A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held next summer on July 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Playground Park, 547 Mill Street, in Green Lake, WI, to be catered by Adam’s Rib. Please mark your calendars and come to reminisce the good times and friendships of Jeff’s life.
