Marie Powers

August 31, 1927 – September 12, 2025

Marie Powers, age 98, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Somerville, New Jersey. She was born on August 31, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York, and lived a long and full life devoted to her family.

She was the proud mother of four sons. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Jack Puleo, and is survived by Jack’s wife, Donna Puleo. She is also survived by her three sons: Robert Puleo and his wife Gloria, Ronald Puleo and his wife Pamela, and James Mascarella and his wife Joanne.

Marie was a cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren: Christopher, Michael, Danielle, Robert, Alexis, Victoria, Andrew, James, Renee, Nicole, and Larry. She was also a loving great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren: Drew, Lexi, Matthew, Nico, Michael, Charlotte, Philip, Jake, Lucas, Henry, Grace, Lucas, Stella, Charolette, and Timothy. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Marie had a love for travel and especially enjoyed spending time in Boca Raton, Florida. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, kindness, and family bonds that will continue for generations.
