Carolyn Eugenia (Czaplicki) Kogut, of Richboro, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Brookdale Northampton. She was 82 years old.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Thomas and Stephanie (Sawicki) Czaplicki, Carolyn grew up in Gardenville before settling in Point Pleasant in 1968. A graduate of Central Bucks West High School, she worked with American Ambulance Services of America as Chief, at Bucks Country Gardens and Bromm's Lullaby Farm. She also founded Roses and Ivy, a small business specializing in wedding flowers and garden design.

Carolyn gave generously of her time and talents. She was among the founding volunteers of Point Pleasant Ambulance, served as an American Red Cross instructor and mentored parents of the first group of deaf students at Bucks County I.U. Together with her husband Robert, she hosted many picnics and gatherings for the deaf community at their home.

Her passions included gardening, floral arranging, reading and DIY projects, from wallpapering to furniture refinishing (and moving). Carolyn especially loved visiting Longwood Gardens and Williamsburg, VA, with Robert.

She was the beloved wife of 61 years to Robert John Kogut; devoted mother of Stephanie Elliott (Bruce), Christina Derhammer (Lee), Jennifer Walker (Eric), and Robert "Rob" Kogut; dear sister of Loretta Czaplicki; loving grandmother of Melissa, Samantha, Noah, Georgina, Veronica, Miriam, Esther and Lowell.

A private family Mass and inurnment will be held, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the family's convenience.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 or www.lastchanceranch.org would be appreciated, honoring Carolyn's lifelong love of animals and her compassion for their care.

The family would like to thank everyone at Brookdale, the Clare Bridge Memory Care Unit and Vitality Hospice for their excellent care, love and support. During her time with them, Carolyn was able to find herself in her dementia and was deeply loved by all who cared for her.
