Susan B. Soder

Susan B. Soder, 76, of Middletown, Delaware passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 20, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Whitmer) Soder.
Sue was a graduate of Central Bucks West High School and was employed as an administrative assistant with ICI Americas, having retired in 2004 after 30 years of service at the Atlas Point Site. She and her longtime partner, Tony, made many memories traveling to various destinations, and they especially enjoyed summers at their home in Broadkill Beach while spending winters in Sebastian, Florida. Sue and her beloved English Setter, Cassie, were faithful and devoted volunteers with PAWS for People.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Brownlow.
Sue is survived by her loving partner of 45 years, Anthony Casarino Sr.; her brother, Kevin Soder and wife, Janet; her niece, Ashley; her nephew, Jeff (Michelle) and her niece, Jill (Shane). She is also survived by Anthony's sons, Anthony Casarino Jr. and wife, Terri, Christopher Casarino and husband, Matt Kari; and granddaughters, Lauren, Sarah and Gabrielle.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, November 12 from 10:00 – 11:00AM, with a remembrance service immediately following.
