Margaret Soder Obituary
Her presence brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her medical team was always surprised by her positivity and zest for life.
Born to Shirley L. and Russell A. Soder Sr. in Sunbury, Pa., Peggy was raised in Baltimore, Md. then lived in York and Spring Grove for 43 years with her companion Patrick Zeigler.
She is survived by her companion, Patrick Zeigler, 2 sisters, Lisa (Phelps) Toomey, and Cynthia L. Miller (Allan), a niece, Heather Miller and a nephew, Sabastian Soder and a very good friend, Vicky Beach.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers Michael W. Phelps, William C. Soder and Russell A. Soder Jr.
She graduated from William Penn High School in 1983. She worked for Dalco Industries for 22 years.
Peggy had a generous heart, quick wit and infectious laugh. She was considered the neighborhood Grandma. She had a lifelong love of her nieces, nephews, her pet cats and dogs, beaches, bowling, bingo and cooking.
She also helped Patrick with safety at his motorcycle races.
Peggy is sorely missed.
Her celebration of life date to be determined at a later time.
