He is preceded in death by his parents; James and Margaret Penley Tart and brothers; Lamar Tart and Ronald Tart.
He is survived by his daughter; Sherry (Bradley) Bass and sons; Joshua (Tonya) Tart and Austin Tart. Grandchildren; Ashlyn Bass, Chelsea (Matthew) Keith, JC (Gracie) Toler and great grandson; Carson Keith all of North Carolina. Brothers; James (Pam) Tart, Donald (Debbie) Tart, and Gary Tart, sister; Wanda (Gordon) Jarrett, all of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life was held November 9, 2025. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
