Jeffly Fleurant was a devoted son, beloved brother, cherished friend, and respected professional. His life was a beautiful testament to resilience, grace, and quiet strength. He led with kindness, lived with purpose, and inspired those around him with his calm, gentle presence.
Born on March 9, 2000, in Orlando, Florida, Jeffly was the youngest child of Yvoix and Wilda Fleurant. He grew up in Kissimmee, Florida, alongside his older sister, Gina, and brother, Junior. From a young age, Jeffly displayed a thoughtful spirit and quiet determination. He attended local schools in Kissimmee and graduated from Gateway High School, where he began to shape the remarkable journey that would follow.
Jeffly went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics and Information Management from the University of Central Florida. He was also proudly certified as a Coding Associate (CCA). With diligence and dedication, he built a successful career in healthcare, serving as a Health Information Management Specialist at UCF Lake Nona Medical Center. His colleagues admired his intelligence, precision, and the compassion he brought to every task.
Yet, it was not only his professional achievements that defined him. Jeffly’s warmth, humility, and loyalty made him a beloved presence in the lives of his family and friends. He offered unwavering support, a quiet sense of humor, and a calming spirit that comforted everyone he knew.
Throughout his life, Jeffly faced significant health challenges. Born with sickle cell disease and later diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in 2020 due to his sickle disease, he endured more than most could imagine. And yet, through every trial, he met life with unmatched courage, dignity, and resilience. His strength was quiet but deeply powerful—a reflection of the incredible soul he was.
On May 13, 2025, Jeffly passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact is lasting and profound. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, grace, and quiet greatness that will forever remain in our hearts.
