Barber, Jeffrey "Jeff" – age 54, of Birch Run, formerly Grosse Point Woods, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Covenant HealthCare of Saginaw. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. No services at this time.
Jeffrey was born on March 27, 1970, in North York, Toronto, Jeff embraced every moment of his journey with enthusiasm and passion. Jeff was a proud graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School, Class of 1988, and furthered his education at Macomb Community College and Wayne State University. His professional life was marked by a remarkable 10-year career as Director of Engineering for Furniture Row Racing, where his love for motorsports flourished. His contributions culminated with being part of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Team. His contributions to NASCAR reflect a passion that will not be forgotten. He cherished days on Lake St. Clair and Lake Norman, where he enjoyed boating with friends and family. Winter months brought him thrilling experiences on the slopes, as he loved bluebird days skiing on Vail's slopes with family and friends. Jeff also found comfort in quieter moments, indulging in books and electronic music. A proud Scot at heart, Jeff wore his heritage with pride and shared that spirit with all who knew him.
Surviving are: Significant other, Hollie Marlett; Sister, Jennifer Cochran; Nieces and Nephews: Kyle Cochran, Kaithlin Cochran, and Dylan Cochran; Former wife, Samantha Henson Barber.
