Jeffrey Keith Barnes, 63, of Elm City passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025. A celebration of life will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Aenon Missionary Baptist Church, 7503 Town Creek Road, Elm City.
Jeff was an electrician since graduating from high school. He was the president of the Dixie Steel Motorcycle club for fourteen years. Jeff was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and a friend to all who knew him. He was also a “Momma’s Boy”. He loved his dogs. Jeff was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Brenda Barnes; daughter, Rebecca Peaks and husband, Matthew; grandson, Grayson Peaks; mother, Rebecca Barnes Wiggins and husband, Billy; sister, Connie Barnes Frazier and husband, Jack; step-sister, Billie Jean Brown; step-brothers, Johnny Wiggins and wife, Doris, Robert Wiggins and wife, Leah, and Roy Wiggins and wife, Faye, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kid Jackie Barnes.
