On March 30, 2025, Jeffrey Barnett, 57, went home to be with the Lord after a short illness.
Jeff loved old muscle cars, hard rock music and working in his garden. He also loved to cook and build things. He was a skilled carpenter and landscaper who could operate a backhoe with his eyes closed. Jeff loved to have cookouts, attend family reunions and loved relaxing after a long day at work with a good movie. Jeff worked for the Summit County Engineers for many years and was loved and valued by everyone there. He is greatly missed by all his friends and coworkers.
Jeff leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Holly Barnett and her fiance Cameron Ellis, and his best friend and companion, Kathy Lee Barnett. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Chevy. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cheryl and Terry Barnett.
No service or calling hours will be held. Cremation will take place.
