Jeffery Lynn Crotts, 81, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, with his daughter, Ellie Procious and longtime Lady Friend Esi Toscano by his side. He was born on March 6, 1942 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late John Roy Crotts Sr. and Mary DeEtte Crotts. He was a true southern gentleman with a strong conviction of family and of the ones he loved. Jeffrey served as a Ranger in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic. With his love for country and planes, lead him to attended Piedmont Aerospace Institute followed by a career at Lockheed Martin, Marietta, GA and retired as a Flight Line Supervisor. Jeffrey was an avid donor to the “Wounded Warrior Project” and also was a man of strong faith and an active member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents Jeffrey was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Marlene Crotts; sister, Jackie Goins; brothers, Jimmie Crotts and Johnny Crotts. He is survived by his sister, Janet Pruitt; daughters, Ellen Crotts, Ilona (Ellie) Procious; grandson, Justin Hill and Cody Benge; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Lewisville Chapel. The family will receive friends and visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Stony Knoll UMC Cemetery with Military Honors. In addition to, or in place of flowers, you may make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in remembrance to Jeffrey Crotts.
