Jeffrey Robert Dallaire, 43, of Windsor, passed away unexpectedly in Hartford. Born in Hartford on May 20, 1981, son of Mark Allen and Laurie Diane (Platt) Dallaire, he was raised in Windsor and attended Windsor Public Schools. While at Windsor High School, Jeff earned his varsity letter in wrestling, which he enjoyed competing in with his older brother Rocky.
After his schooling, Jeff worked in construction with his brother and his uncle. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with friends, fishing on the local rivers and streams, and watching his favorite teams the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Jeff was very creative and loved to draw and create things with his hands. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he leaves three sons, Jay Dallaire of Florida, Nicholas Dallaire of Whitesboro, NY, and Anthony Dallaire of East Hampton; his maternal grandparents, George and Dorothy (Matthews) Platt of Southington; two brothers, Rocky Dallaire of Windsor and Dan Dallaire and his wife Katie of East Hampton; a sister, Brennah Dallaire and her husband Matthew Mangal of Windsor; six nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother whom he adored, Jane Ann Dallaire and his paternal grandfather Joseph "Red" Dallaire.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, 10 a.m.-12 noon, at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery in Portland, CT.
