Jeffrey DeWeber, age 72, of Royal, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
He was born on October 16, 1951, in Portland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melfred L. and Thelma F. DeWeber and Donna Jo and Alvin W. Pietz; his grandson, David Asher DeWeber.
Jeff wore many hats over the years including, cook, longshoreman, drywall installer and nurse. His greatest joys were his Savior and his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, Papa and friend.
His loving survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Curtiss DeWeber; three sons and daughters-in-low, Obadiah and Lily DeWeber, Paul and Georgeta DeWeber and John and Cassie DeWeber; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Aaron Ball and Jennifer and Eugene McNeely, 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brother, David DeWeber; his sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Shaun Rogers; two stepbrothers and two stepsisters; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, with Bro. Earl Martin and Bro. Tim Martin officiating in the Wildwood Tabernacle, 623 Owl Creek Road, in Royal under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Interment will be in the Lowe Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Aaron Ball, Paul DeWeber, Obadiah DeWeber, John DeWeber, Eugene McNeely and David DeWeber.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Long, Jedidiah DeWeber, Andrew DeWeber, Andrew Cretu, Chase Hessong, Clayton Cone, Joshua DeWeber and Levi DeWeber.
