One of the things I remember about Jeff is that he always liked to drink a Chocolate YooHoo the morning after a night of partying. I was thinking alot about Jeff at work last Thursday and when I pulled into my driveway at the end of the day I was greeted with a can of Chocolate YooHoo on the curb in front of my house. I grabbed the half-empty can, brought it into the house, and asked my wife who it reminded her of - she said 'Jeff' without any hesitation. What makes this extraordinary is that nobody in my house drinks YooHoo. I just wonder if it was a message from Jeff...

I remember when I went camping with Jeff many years ago in the Adirondacks. We decided to go fishing on this one particular trip so we made a visit to the Ausable Chasm to try our luck. Jeff's friend Ramps was with us and was wading in the river when his foot got stuck in quicksand. Jeff and I decided that Ramps would not be able to extract himself from the quicksand - he was sinking slowly but surely. So I grabbed Ramps from behind and pulled while Jeff went underwater and dug with his hands. Ramps was freed and after that none of us was in the mood to do anymore fishing so we just headed back to camp.

My first memory of Jeff is when he played on my Dad's basketball team at IBM Country Club.

My first memory of Jeff was as a basketball teammate on my Dad's IBM basketball team probably 50 years ago or so. He always had a temper when he played and took the game very seriously - a true competitor. You would think that his temper would scare the other players away, but everyone seemed to look up to him as the unofficial 'captain' of the team. I could see even back then that he was a natural coach.
