Jeffrey M. Engstrom, 75, of Rockford, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, Illinois.
Services are Noon Saturday, June 29, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
Jeffrey Martin Engstrom was born May 30, 1949, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Maynard Oscar and Nancy Joan (Barker) Engstrom. He graduated from Rock Island High School and went on to marry Diana Glynn. The couple had two children prior to separating. He went on to marry Linda Dickson.
Jeff retired as Postmaster of the Byron, Illinois Post Office after 11 years. He was a member of the Postal Service Supervisor Group. He enjoyed bowling, playing “42” and other card games with his family, and playing poker. He was proud to be a foster parent and Green Bay Packer fan and shareholder.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Engstrom of Rockford; two children, Jeffrey (Karo) Engstrom, Jr. of Austin, Texas, and Erin (Mike) St. Pierre of Derby, Kansas; siblings, Christine Butterfield, David Engstrom, Todd (Julie) Engstrom, Mark Engstrom, and Cory (Chris) Schluensen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
