Jeffrey Evans Obituary
He was the beloved husband of Michael S. Walker, dear brother of Richard (Joyce) Evans and Janis (Terrance) Moran, loving uncle of Jennifer and great uncle of Jacob and Maya, dear son of the late Robert and Verla Evans.
Jeff was an accomplished wine maker, successful business owner, farmer, rancher and Engineer. Jeff was a Life Member of the IEEE and EMC Society. Jeff had a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Oregon, and a Winemaking Certificate from the UC Davis Extension. Jeff worked for many companies over his career including Silicon Graphics, Intel, HP, Cisco and ESL/TRW where he had Military clearances and worked on Airplanes above the Alps and in Germany. Jeff was involved in at least 2 US Patents.
In college, Jeff was involved with doing sound at the University of Oregon, and did a lot of volunteer work and donated a lot of his time. This is where he joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. www.bbbs.org
A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a later date.
