Jeffrey Dean Fonder

Jeffrey left this earthly plain on August 12th, 2024.
Many knew him simply as "Fonder", the face of Dempsey's. But he was our Jeffrey, and he gave the best hugs. He always said, "I love you" and would give one more big squeeze before we parted ways. His smile was the best and his laugh was so contagious. We were so lucky to have been given the time we had to love Jeffrey. We were even more lucky to have been loved by him. From Wyatt and Sharon Akin, we love you, big brother.
He left an impact on every person he met. Even if that meeting was just for a few minutes. Fonder loved his people, and his people loved him. He had a passion for the local music and arts scene and made many friends along the way. No one was a stranger. Everyone was just a new friend he had not met yet. His support system at Dempsey's in Fargo is something that is hard to even put into words. This community of people has banded together to show how much he means to them. Their loss is not just of a co-worker, but of a family member. He is deeply missed by them.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother Cindy, step-dad Howard, Veronica (Josh), Ian, Josh (Jennifer), Berkley, friends Wyatt and Sharon Akin, many uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless loving people at Dempsey's.
He has been united in death with his father Larry, brother Scott, and brother Josh. He loved them all so much, and we know they are united together again.
